Vanuit een diepgewortelde liefde voor esthetiek en een wens voor een gezondere en feestelijkere leefomgeving creëer, repareer en verzamel ik dingen die de wereld om ons heen nog mooier zullen maken.

It was 2020 and it all started with a nostalgia for more danceable times. With no possibility to spread our night wings or attract our festival goers, a sea of time and space arose to contemplate and create. Not only the vulnerability of our humanity, but especially the vulnerability of the planet was presented crystal clear and on a golden tray.

That nostalgia for more danceable times was mainly expressed in the hopeful and tireless creation of outfits and accessories that could be worn at the next party. Led by memories of steaming dance floors and with the well-being of the planet and its inhabitants of the animal species in mind, I created harnesses, vegan versions that is.

That set off a train of events and my urge to live and work sustainable increased. It all turned out to be possible by working with materials that already exist, upcycling discarded products and not wasting a single piece of material.

Slowly but surely a collection of lovingly nurtured, mended, and handmade items was created. A cozy club that I like to complement with all kinds of accessories and pre-loved pearls. Because with a privileged side job that shows me a lot of the world, I scour the farthest journeys in search of the nearest things. You don't get me happier when I come across an item that looks and feels very fine, and was also lovingly, locally or perhaps made life-long ago.

All those beauties accompany me on my travels with the mobile workshop in which I live and work; a tiny house on wheels where I dream about a healthier world and strive to make life more beautiful and, above all, more festive.
